Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about using this free library of original AI prompts for ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Claude.
Are these prompts free to use?
Yes. Every prompt on this site is free to copy and use, including for commercial projects like client work, marketing campaigns, and products you sell. There is no charge, no account, and no signup.
Can I submit my own prompt?
Not in this version of the site. This is a curated library written by the site owner, so all prompts are original and reviewed. User submissions would need accounts and moderation, which are intentionally out of scope here.
Do I need a paid account for ChatGPT, Midjourney, or Claude?
The prompts themselves are free to copy. Whether you need a paid plan depends on the tool you paste them into — ChatGPT and Claude offer free tiers with limits, while Midjourney requires an active subscription. Check each tool's pricing for current terms.
Can I edit the prompts before using them?
Yes, and you should. Every prompt is a starting point. Replace the text in [brackets] with your own details, and adjust the wording until the output fits your task. Most prompts are designed to be refined with follow-up messages.
How do I copy a prompt to my clipboard?
Open any prompt's detail page and click the Copy Prompt button. The button shows Confirmed when the text is on your clipboard, and you can paste it anywhere. If your browser blocks clipboard access, you can also select and copy the text from the prompt block manually.
Are the prompts written by the site owner?
Yes. All prompt text is original content written specifically for this library. Nothing is scraped or copied from other prompt-sharing sites or communities.
How often are new prompts added?
New prompts are added in batches as the library grows. Categories expand over time, and each addition is reviewed before it goes live. Check back or use the tag filters on each library page to see what is available.
